Genius.

I was listening to an interview with Kanye the other day and they were telling him about how he is referred to as a genius by a lot of different people. His retort to that statement was one that I definitely didn't expect and it actually made a lot of sense. He said that he doesn't believe anyone is a genius, they just have genius moments. His definition of genius was being able to make something of necessity available to everyone before anyone else. This made me think... like damn, he has a point. Like, the title of "genius" is too big of a burden for any one person to carry. Though Albert Einstein had a ton of genius ideas, I'm sure the nigga didn't tie his shoes any different than the rest of us, or blow his nose in a "genius" way. But he did have some brilliant ass ideas. Genius is a medium that I think is more accessible to some and for that they have been labeled genius. When a good person gets in that zone it's awesome. When someone like say.. Hitler gets in that zone... not so much. Hitler was one of the greatest geniuses of all time. Now he obviously didn't use his abilities for good. He damn near wiped out an entire race of people. Could you imagine how things would have been if he had a positive energy behind the power that he had? He would have made an amaaazing President.
